About Us
The American Psychiatric Association (APA) 2025 annual meeting will be held from May 17-21 in Los Angeles. The APA is an organization of psychiatrists working together to ensure humane care and effective treatment for all persons with mental illness, including substance use disorders. It is the voice and conscience of modern psychiatry. APA’s Annual Meeting is the premier psychiatry event of the year. This year, APA welcomes attendees from around the world to the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California for five full days of mental health programming and the chance to reconnect with your peers and reinvigorate your practice.
The meeting theme of 2025, "Lifestyle for Positive Mental and Physical Health," will be the feature of a Lifestyle Psychiatry session track. APA’s Annual Meeting brings together colleagues who share a mission: to improve the lives of their patients.
The meeting attracts the largest audience of psychiatrists and mental health professionals at all levels including early career and residents, psychiatric social workers, peer counselors, nurse practitioners, psychologists, behavioral health administrators and primary care providers. The meeting provides a unique opportunity to educate leaders in mental health policy and care from around the country.

Q.Who is eligible to participate?
A.Any general psychiatry residency program in the US (ACGME-accredited) or Canada may create one team to participate. Team members must all be APA members.
Q.What Are My Options When My Hotel Choice Is Unavailable?
A.Hotels rooms offered through discounted event rates are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. While conducting your search, the online system reflects up-to-the-minute availability and booking options.
Q.What is included in the registration cost?
A.Annual Meeting registration includes admission to 450+ scientific sessions, 4 plenary sessions, and 1,000+ poster presentations. Attendees may access the exhibit hall, as well as complimentary shuttle bus service from the official meeting hotels to the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC), with a valid meeting registration badge.

A.Registration for the event is handled by a different vendor. Please see the registration page of the event's website for further information or to log in to the registration system.
Q.Is APA Annual Meeting On Demand included in registration costs?
A.APA Annual Meeting On Demand is a separate product and is not included with Annual Meeting registration. However, the On Demand product can be added to your Annual Meeting registration for an additional fee.
